City of Rocks

Idaho's City of Rocks is a crag climber's paradise. Situated in the high desert of southeast Idaho, City of Rocks offers thousands of granite rock formations and countless one and two pitch climbs for all levels of experience. The "City" maintains a reputation as a world-class cragging center visited by climbers who rave about the quality of the climbing experience in a wild setting of aspens, mountain mahogany and pinyon pine. Sawtooth Mountain Guides offers several guided trips and courses during the spring, summer, and fall at the City of Rocks.

Our Summer Calendar offers three weekends of climbing at "the City" in the spring and fall. These classes meet on Saturdays at Bath Rock and require a minimum of three people. For one-on-one instruction or more customized service, please contact us to discuss your ideas.
