The Sawtooth Mountain Guides summer season begins in May with spring climbing trips to the desert City of Rocks, located in southeast Idaho. In June, as snow melts from the lower elevations in the Sawtooths, we kick off our climbing, trekking, and mountaineering programs. We custom design most of our outings to meet the expectations of our guests. We arrange multi-day vacations for families, or one day blitzkrieg ascents of classic Sawtooth summits. In addition to our custom tailored trips, we also offer promotional courses on our Summer Calendar. We require a minimum group size for these programs and space is limited, so make your reservation early.
