Course Overview
To train a broad range of Outdoor Recreation participants in the Skills of
Companion Rescue. Focus on skills related to responding to your own party or a
nearby party in Avalanche Rescue and Response.

Indoor
- Burial Statistics
- Overview of Companion Search and Rescue (Search, Stratigic Probing/Shoveling)
Outdoor
- Beacon overview and proper wear
- Full functionality Beacon check
- Flux line explination
- Demo of beacon/shovel/probe techniques (sample rescue)
- Break into smaller groups
- Practice proper use of tools (beacon, shovel, probe)
- Rescue Scenerio Practice (multiple burials, different situations, repeat scenerios etc)
- Course End/Feedback
